Salter Slim Design Scales - Great September 6, 2010 Chris 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great scales, simple to operate, accurate, ability to add any bowl/plate and reset to nil is very useful. I would definitely recommend this product.
Brilliant scales September 6, 2010 L. Cole (Luton, UK) When I received these scales I was very pleased to see just how small they are - they are even more compact than I expected. They are also easy to use and understand, with a clear display, and they are pretty stylish, too. What more could you ask for?
Excellent purchase September 6, 2010 FGC How have I lived without proper scales for such a long time??! The demise of some 15 year old non-digital kitchen scales meant that I was brought kicking and screaming into the 21st century of scales and discovered the introduction of technology such as zero-ing out the reading as one adds new ingredients to be weighed. The scales look chic on the work surface, does not come with an un-necessary bowl (why have another when we already have lots in the ordinary household??) and stores away wonderfully due to its slimline, compact design.
Love it.
Agree with other positive reviews September 2, 2010 Raven (UK) Haven't used this item very much. I only use it to weigh balls of yarn, which are generally 100g or under. I've found it to be accurate and reliable.
Mine Have Given Up! August 30, 2010 S. Wilkes Although I have had my set for less than a year I am now searching the pages of Amazon for a different set altogether. Firstly the rubber feet fell off mine which made them unstable, and subsequently the dial would not go back to nought or turn off. I picked the rest of the rubber feet off to try to level the scales as the dial kept reading 'unstable' but this didn't make any difference. I have just tried to weigh some flour but again the scales won't go back to nought to add more ingredients so I have thrown them in the bin, and hope to find a good quality non-electrical pair!
