Worth Its Weight December 14, 2008
I bought this scale for weighing hiking equipment and supplies. I know that is not the primary function of a food scale, but it fit the bill just fine. I am very pleased with the size, light weight and small footprint of the scale. The readout is large and easy to read. I also like the optional measurement units for the display. The automatic tare feature is really handy too.
Overall, I love the scale and actually do keep it on the kitchen counter.

What's not to like? Accurate, easy to clean... the only slight area of minor irritation is that you can only switch between g, oz, kg, and lbs when turning on the unit, so I've inadvertently done that a time or two. Luckily, just turning it off and restarting and hitting the on button a couple of times while it's taring allows me to fix that. Reliable, accurate, and the plastic removable weighing surface makes cleaning it easy.

This is a great scale. I have used it a few times and had no problem at all. It has made my life much easier in the kitchen especially when following recipes, since I have tons of cookbooks, some with measurements in pounds and some in grams. I highly recommend it!

I absolutely love this scale for several reasons. The sleek euro-design is attractive and looks great on my counter. The removable top is easy to clean. The scale is very accurate and weighs in grams and fractions of ounces. The scale is easy to read. The price was reasonable. It also does tare weighting. It is head and shoulders above my last (Sunbeam) scale, which cost more, was hard to read and impossible to clean. To me, there is no need to pay more when you can get a great scale like this for a great price.

Love this scale, works perfectly every time. Only one button to deal with, which makes it easy to use. You do have to change your units when the scale first turns on, but I find that easy to do, and the scale turns off and back on quickly if you need to change units. The weight readout is easy to see with a bowl on the scale.
